Kolovesi National Park in Enonkoski is explored above all from the water, where steep shoreline cliffs and Saimaa lake scenery open up to paddlers in quiet surroundings. Ancient rock paintings are hidden among the rock formations, and you may spot a Saimaa ringed seal.
The routes are mainly for canoeing, and there are hiking facilities, with walking trails through the forest in summer. The area can be reached by car, and Metsähallitus, which manages it, has details on routes and access on its Luontoon.fi website.
