This family business is in its fourth generation and has operated since 1924, celebrating its 100th year in 2024. Hotel rooms have en-suite facilities, wifi, TV, a mini fridge and a kettle, and many have a skylight and loft space. The guesthouse rooms and the separate Ämmilä building are simpler, with basic beds and shared toilets along the corridor; showers and sauna are in the hotel building. In peak season a traditional buffet table of Lapland specialities is served, and half board and full board are available on certain dates.
Breakfast is included, and wifi and parking are free. There is a gym, a small library and games, and bicycles, pulkas, skis and snowshoes can be rented. Behind the building stands a grill cottage with a campfire and a wood-fired sauna. Hiking and cross-country ski trails are nearby, and local guided tours are available. Pets are not welcome, and there is no pool.
