Founded in 1890, the volunteer fire brigade serves under contract to the Länsi-Uusimaa rescue department and specialises in firefighting water supply. Practical and theoretical training is provided in response, youth and support sections. The fire station was built in 1961–1963.
Its hall is available to hire for celebrations. Accessible seating, an entrance, toilet and parking are provided, but there is no hearing loop.
