A non-profit parent association runs English immersion daycare for children aged 3–7. Operating since 1993, it uses the Early Total Immersion method, with no prior English required. Preschool follows the Finnish curriculum taught in English.
Staff have trained in immersion education at the University of Vaasa, with continuing development for permanent employees. An external music institute teacher leads weekly music play sessions, and optional dance classes are offered. The daycare is supervised by the city, and the association holds Finland's Social Enterprise label.
