The beach is on Iso Vasikkasaari island, whose day-trip facilities include nature trails, a playground, viewpoint tower and disc golf course. There is also a volleyball court, outdoor gym, a restaurant in a 19th-century seaside villa and a café in an old fisherman's cabin.
Public boats reach the island from Suomenoja, Nokkala, Haukilahti and Otaniemi harbours. Cooking shelters with firewood, toilets, showers and drinking water points are available. Camping is not allowed.
