Part of a diaconal foundation established in 1970, the social services provider supports people including mental health rehabilitees, unemployed people and homeless people. Services cover homes, help with living and daily life, and work and study placements. Supported housing for young adults combines individual studios with shared spaces.
The group also provides housing advice, work coaching, training, courses and workshops for social care staff in the metropolitan area. The foundation's subsidiary EDIAS Hoivapalvelut Oy was established in 2007 as a social enterprise.
