The non-profit foundation tackles the root causes of Baltic Sea eutrophication through work at sea and on land. Its focus covers marine biodiversity, sustainable farming and the effects of forestry on waterways. It helped establish the Gullkrona protected marine area in the Archipelago Sea.
Farmers can join the Carbon Action club and online regenerative farming training, while food-system businesses have a separate online course. Its Forest Network brings together owners, professionals, companies and researchers. Businesses can participate through Baltic Sea commitments, with partners including Valio, UPM and Sinebrychoff.
