Founded in 1966, this is the student professional association for energy engineering students at Aalto University. It brings together students and others interested in the energy sector and acts as a link between energy companies and students. Its budget comes mostly from corporate supporting membership fees, and it works closely with its alumni association, Lämpövoimakerhon Senioriklubi.
The programme includes company visits, an annual longer domestic excursion, thematic days on current energy topics, energy engineering student days, annual celebrations and sauna evenings. Recent events include company visits, a wappu party and a summer event at a hunting lodge in Nurmijärvi. Announcements go out through a mailing list, the website and a Telegram group.
