The cultural centre provides activities for children, young people and families. Alongside its culture path programme and family events, it runs the Children's Saturdays series, including guided art museum visits. Children and young people help create works for the Valoilmiö light art festival. Family workshops make lanterns for the Valokaravaani procession.
