This ancient hillfort rises over 50 metres above Lake Katumajärvi. The slope facing the lake is steep, with gentler slopes to the west. The hilltop has stone ramparts that may be remains of the fort's defences, with two gate openings visible in the middle. A structure believed to have been a water reservoir has also been found on the hill. It is estimated to have been in use in the Iron Age Viking period, in the 800s to 1000s.
The top offers panoramic views over Lake Katumajärvi. Paths lead to the hill from the road towards Turenki (regional road 290). The site is classed as a historical site, natural attraction, forest and viewpoint. The car park and entrance are not wheelchair accessible.
