Founded in 1924, the ski club focuses on cross-country coaching and club development. It has around 200 members and belongs to the Finnish Ski Association. Its history includes ski jumping, hosting the 1962 and 1971 biathlon world championships and organising the Finlandia ski race from the 1970s into the 1990s.
Children's and junior summer and autumn training uses the hilly terrain of Parolannummi, Ahvenisto and Aulanko. The club has helped develop stored-snow use since 2021. Summer flea markets raise funds for children's and youth activities.
