This Helsinki driving school, run by Valox Oy, trains learners for the B (car) licence. Theory can be studied online, and you can drive a manual or automatic, switching during the course. Training is in real cars, with a fleet of five Audi A1s, and the largest of three packages includes a slippery-road drive and an hour in a night-driving simulator.
It also offers extra lessons after a failed test, driving assessments for older adults and a course for people with a driving ban. Lessons are booked and changed online, and you can choose your instructor. Teaching is in Finnish, and some instructors also teach in English. Tram and bus stops are next to the office, and you can pay in instalments.
