This Helsinki-based online service lets private sellers list a used car and have Finnish car dealers compete for it with their bids. It launched in spring 2018, and more than 80,000 cars have been sold through it.
You enter the registration number and mileage, add five photos and the service book, and the bidding runs for one and a half working days from the first offer. You can accept, make a counter-offer or decline to sell. Cars with outstanding loans or with faults can also be sold, as long as defects are disclosed honestly. The service is free for sellers, and the buying dealer pays a brokerage fee.
