This small independent wine shop in Helsinki wants to make wine approachable for everyone. The focus is on producers and their stories, lesser-known grape varieties and winemaking methods, and the shop supports Finnish importers, working as an independent alternative alongside the state alcohol retailer Alko.
Under Finnish law, take-away sales are limited to drinks of up to 8% alcohol. A small seating area inspired by wine shops in Italy and Spain lets you enjoy a glass or two, but there is no kitchen, food or table service. Wi-Fi is available, cards are accepted, and there is paid street parking nearby. The entrance and toilet are not step-free.
