At Kaivopiha, one of Helsinki's oldest heavy metal bars plays rock, heavy and metal. It is known as an after-hours haunt for people in the restaurant trade, and the after-parties for bigger gigs always end up here. Beer takes centre stage, with Finnish craft beers and international classics, alongside cocktails, wine and spirits.
The weekly programme includes heavy music bingo and heavy karaoke. The covered terrace has 24 seats and is open all year. Drinks are served at the table, there are slot machines, and at weekends the doors stay open until 5 am. The premises are wheelchair accessible, cards and mobile payments are accepted, and a visit usually lasts one to two and a half hours.
