This pub near the University of Helsinki has a summer terrace under oak trees. The building in the Topelia block was originally a military hospital, and the interior has paintings, wall textiles and historical weapons. About fifty rotating beers and ciders are on offer, plus wines, long drinks and cocktails, with an emphasis on organic, gluten-free, vegan and small-brewery products.
In the evenings there are toasted sandwiches and savoury snacks, and board games are available. There are 100 seats inside and 100 on the terrace in season. Groups of more than eight should reserve, and the venue hosts events from game nights to weddings. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
