This speakeasy-style cocktail bar in Helsinki's Torikorttelit blocks is built around a detective agency story. As the tale goes, the Helsinki office of a London detective agency opened in 1924, officially to help enforce Finland's prohibition laws, but became a speakeasy that was never raided. The theme was inspired by a fire safe of agency journals and papers found during renovation. It is run by the Finnish company Son of a Punch.
Guests are seated on a first-come, first-served basis. Tables can be reserved for groups of four or more, and parties of over ten or private events are arranged by email. Cocktail workshops are also on offer.
