At the Linnanmäki amusement park, this Helsinki aquarium belongs to an international aquarium chain. The route leads through a rainforest, the tropics, a nocturnal ocean island, a ray bay and an octopus cave, with an underwater tunnel as a highlight. Residents include sharks, rays, seahorses, octopuses, axolotls, jellyfish and piranhas, and feeding sessions take place on the hour.
Tickets are bought online, choosing the day of your visit. A 20-minute guided tour goes behind the scenes to the fish kitchen, engine room and laboratory, but because of the stairs it is not suitable for pushchairs or visitors with limited mobility. The entrance, toilets and parking are accessible.
