Founded in 1987, the Finnish Sign Language theatre creates productions for children, adults and older audiences. Most performances are interpreted into spoken Finnish. It became independent of the Finnish Association of the Deaf in 2015.
Based in Malmintori shopping centre, it also offers workshops, theatre clubs, courses and group theatre education. Performances can be booked around Finland. Partners include the Finnish Association of the Deaf and the Finnish National Theatre.
