This Helsinki hotel occupies the Master Builders' House, designed by Heikki Kaartinen and completed in the 1930s. Risto-Veikko Luukkonen and Helmer Stenros extended it in the 1960s, and it was last renovated in 2022. Its 237 rooms over six floors include loft rooms with brick walls and suites with balconies. The Social Mestari restaurant and bar also serves a breakfast buffet with gluten-free, vegan and lactose-free options.
Guests can use the gym and sauna, and a large conference hall and seven smaller meeting rooms take up to 650 people. The P-Mestari parking garage is about 60 metres away. The building is step-free, with accessible rooms, and holds the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.
