Opened in 1907 in an Art Nouveau building designed by architect Vilho Penttilä, this Helsinki hotel was founded by Arthur Hjelt. It has 202 rooms in 12 categories with more than 400 beds, and every stay supports the children's and youth work of the Helsinki YMCA.
Central Station is only a 200-metre walk away, and public transport runs right past the door. Breakfast and lunch are served as buffets, and breakfast is included in most room rates. Guests can book two private saunas, and there are 12 rooms for meetings and parties for 2 to 250 people. Wi-Fi is free, pets are welcome, and the building is accessible and smoke-free.
