This Baroque-style event hall is in the Balder house and has traditionally been rented for meetings and concerts. The hall measures about 160 m² and seats around 220 people. The stage, roughly 5 x 6 m, has a curtain and ramp lighting, and the lighting system is adjustable. A 1901 Steinway & Sons grand piano is available as an optional extra. A smaller side room of about 50 m² comes with a piano, a video projector and Wi-Fi.
The hall can also be hired for private events such as weddings, graduations and birthday parties. The adjacent café can provide coffee service or catering. Optional paid extras include a sound system, microphones, kitchen hire, furniture arrangements and staff such as a caretaker, doorman, sound engineer and caterers. Folding tables, round banquet tables and choir risers are included free. The venue is in the Torikorttelit complex, but the car park and entrance are not wheelchair accessible.
