This multidisciplinary specialist library in Helsinki focuses on labour studies, working life and society, and is run by the association Työväenperinne ry. Its collections fill more than three shelf kilometres, and digitised labour movement newspapers, special collections and bibliographies can be read in the Helda repository. The library also advises on usage rights for films from Kansan Elokuvat and Allotria-Filmi.
It is open to everyone, and the holdings can be searched in the Helka and Finna databases. Borrowing requires a Helka card from the Helsinki University Library. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
