This Helsinki café and bar in the Torikorttelit blocks is built around specialty coffee: the baristas choose beans from Finnish and international roasters, and coffee is brewed by hand. The house espresso blend, made with Inka Paahtimo, combines washed Arabica coffees from Peru and Costa Rica. Lunch brings salads, pastas and sourdough toasts, desserts such as carrot cake are made in-house, and there is live jazz.
Tables cannot be booked, but groups of more than eight can arrange a visit by email. Wine, beer and cocktails are served alongside coffee, and fresh beans can be bought to take home. There is outdoor seating, the entrance and toilet are accessible, and dogs are welcome inside.
