This historic café and tea room is in the Kaisaniemi park building, with a presence on the site since 1827. Sweet and savoury pastries are baked in its own konditorei. The tea selection runs to dozens of house blends, mixed and flavoured on site. Löfbergs coffee, classic coffee drinks, lemonades, juices, wines and sparkling wine are also served. Cream Tea, with two scones per person, seasonal jams and clotted cream, is offered from Tuesday to Saturday.
Afternoon tea must be booked in advance with a binding reservation and no right of cancellation. Private rooms for groups include the Mannerheim and Snellman cabinets and the Topelius hall. Only card payment is accepted. The café is dog-friendly and tech-free, and high chairs are available. Gluten-free and vegan options are served. The premises are mostly step-free, with a 2 cm threshold at the entrance and an accessible toilet.
