Sipoonkorpi National Park in the Helsinki region is a mix of varied forests, bogs, rocky outcrops and small lakes and streams. Its main sight is the traditional rural landscape of the Byabäcken valley, where a winding river runs between fields and grazed meadows.
There are more than 26 km of marked trails, mostly loops and fairly easy to walk, though some have steep climbs, stairs and demanding terrain. The trails are not maintained in winter. Along the way there are cooking shelters, campfire sites and camping areas, and a demanding accessible route leads to the shore of Storträsk. Several routes suit children, dogs are allowed, and there are paid car parks and free roadside parking.
