This Helsinki-based NGO works to support learning in a multicultural society. It runs a Language Cafe, workshops for teachers and the Activate Your Language series of mystery games, story time circles and brunch in Finnish. Its projects include Common Ground, Net Refugee and Tell Me Culture.
Its learning material includes language games for children and teens, discussion cards for conversation groups and teaching packages in Finnish, Swedish, English and French at three levels. Courses include Everyday English (A2), Business English, media education and inclusive methods for teaching migrant learners, plus Suomiportaat Finnish and Svenska Steg Swedish mini courses.
