Ian Bourgeot opened this Helsinki second-hand bookshop on 14 March 2008 after settling in Finland. The shelves hold Finnish and international books in many languages, and art prints, Bourgeot's own artwork, coffee and tea are also sold. Liisa Bourgeot, a University of Helsinki scholar of Russian philosophy and intellectual history, also works here, and the shop has hosted nearly two thousand events.
Books are also sold online. The space can be hired for private events: 200 square metres over two floors, with six rooms for up to 90 people, a kitchenette, a projector, a pool table and an upright piano. Cards and contactless payments are accepted.
