This self-service flea market and antiques shop in Helsinki is a traditional cellar market on two floors, with the antiques gathered downstairs. On sale are clothes, accessories, antiques, vinyl records, books and homeware.
Sellers rent tables made from recycled materials such as pallets and melamine boards, online or on site, and track sales and make item labels in the Kirppari-Kalle system; an all-inclusive package covers everything from pricing to clearing the table. Shoppers can pay by card, and a visit usually takes 20 minutes to an hour. There is paid parking in front of the building. The entrance is not step-free, and there are no customer toilets.
