This self-service flea market in Helsinki sells second-hand clothing, accessories, shoes and small home decor items for all ages and styles. Sellers choose between three commission-based options: All Inclusive, where the shop prices the items and sales run for 10 days; self-service, where sellers price and bring their own items for 7 days; and Arvotili, a locked showcase for 21 days for higher-value accessories such as bags, scarves and sunglasses.
The self-service package includes price tags, hangers and cleaning of the selling space. Spaces can be booked by email, on site or through the Kirppari-Kalle service. A visit usually takes 20 minutes to an hour, and there is no customer toilet.
