This log villa, over 120 years old, was built around 1900 as a summer residence for Salomo Wuorio's family. It was designed by the architects Herman Gesellius, Armas Lindgren and Eliel Saarinen, blending National Romantic and Art Nouveau (Jugend) styles. It is a protected building in the highest class, sr-1, recognised as architecturally and culturally valuable. The city owned it until 2021, when it was leased to the current operators.
The venues are rented for weddings, family parties, company events, team days, courses, retreats and private gatherings. A wood-heated seaside sauna is open to the public on certain days in summer and can be rented privately. The guest house Villa Bergvik has a seaside bar and the summer café Wuorion Ranta. The park grounds are open, and public events are held in the villa grounds according to a shared event calendar.
