Opened in 2011, the Helsinki Music Centre is a concert and events venue open to everyone. Its main residents are the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Sibelius Academy. The main hall seats 1,704, and other performance spaces include the Paavo Hall, the Black Box and Organo. The building has its own organ and a library.
Tickets are sold through each event page online, by phone and at the ticket office, and it is wise to buy them early. There is a café and a lunch restaurant, and guided tours are offered. Children have their own programme. There is accessible seating, step-free entry and accessible toilets, and parking is in a paid car park.
