This home bakery, started in Lahti in 2016, makes everything itself, using Finnish ingredients wherever possible, and employs about 24 people. The range includes 100% rye bread, gourmet loaves, multigrain rolls, Karelian pies (rye pasties with a rice filling) and large meat pies, along with blueberry doughnuts, 'crystal' buns, cream Danish pastries and coffee buns baked daily.
In Helsinki its products are sold to take away, and coffee is available too. There are 12 outlets in all. Orders can be placed by phone or, preferably, by email at least two working days ahead, and custom cakes are ordered from its partner Créme De La Vera. Cards and mobile payments are accepted.
