This lookout platform was built on top of a former coastal battery on Vallisaari island in Helsinki. Known as Aleksanterinpatteri, the battery is the island's largest fortification and an example of 19th-century fortress building. From the platform you can look south or back towards the city centre.
The site is not wheelchair accessible, with no step-free entrance or accessible parking.
