This independent eyewear shop stands on a corner by the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki, on the spot where Rae Ylisäe founded an optician's business in 1959; it has traded under its current name since 1999. Its specialities are strabismus testing and prism lenses, specialist contact lens fitting, and low-vision assessment and aids. It also looks after the working vision of the Finnish National Opera and Ballet and other culture professionals.
Eye tests cover binocular vision, lens prescriptions and eye health. The shop sells glasses, sunglasses, contact lenses, anti-glare filter lenses and magnifiers. Home visits are available, and appointments can be arranged outside opening hours.
