Petrus, an optician with more than 30 years in the field and a long career as an entrepreneur, looks after customers at this Helsinki shop. The frame range focuses on Finnish round frames, with brands such as Micare, Gaston and Coexist, and Nina Mûr wooden frames made from Finnish birch. Lenses are mostly Finnish Piiloset single-vision, office and multifocal lenses.
Lenses can have hard, anti-reflective, anti-fog, Bluestop blue-light or UV coatings, or a tint. Petrus makes the glasses himself from start to finish, and questions are answered by email or phone. The entrance is step-free, and cards and mobile payments are accepted.
