This Montessori-based primary school in Helsinki teaches grades 1 to 6, following the Finnish national core curriculum with international Montessori methods and materials. It is run by the Helsingin Montessori-yhdistys association and opened in 2018 as Finland's first Montessori-based comprehensive school. Many of the class teachers hold a Montessori teaching qualification.
The school is on the grounds of Herttoniemi Hospital near Siilitie metro station; drivers can use the hospital car park after registering at the school. There are after-school activities and hobby clubs. Shoes come off indoors, and felt socks and shoe covers are available in the entrance hall. School visits are possible.
