This modern City of Helsinki day care centre is in a quiet area and has six groups, two of them pre-school groups and the others for ages 0–2 and 3–5. Multi-use spaces support a community-based way of working. The focus is on friendship and emotional skills, a love of reading and physical activity, and groups share their themes through the Edlevo app and a group portfolio.
Enrolment, fee agreements and other matters are handled by the director or deputy. Care is provided in Finnish. There are four accessible parking spaces outside and a drop-off point right by the entrance. The covered entrance has a buzzer, the lift fits a wheelchair, and there is an accessible toilet on the ground floor.
