This self-service laundry is in the Hertsi shopping centre in Helsinki and has separate machines for clothes and rugs. There are several programmes, including ones for down duvets, and fragrance-free detergent is included and dosed automatically by the machines.
No booking is needed: you can use the machines whenever they are free. A drying drum takes about 30 minutes, and rugs dry in lockable drying cabinets within 24 hours. Payment is by card, instructions are posted on the machines, and the car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
