This family-run venue specialises in funeral memorial services and family celebrations and sits next to Malmi cemetery. It has been organising events for about 30 years. The halls also suit birthdays, christenings, confirmation parties and association or housing company meetings on weekday evenings. There are three bright halls of different sizes, which can be combined into one large room, and a cellar hall with a grand piano.
Food is prepared in the venue's own kitchen, and the whole staff takes part in menu planning. Options include buffet tables, coffee service with sandwiches or sandwich cakes, and hot dishes such as karjalanpaisti and coq au vin. Special diets are catered for when agreed in advance. The sister venue Pihlajasalit operates in the adjacent yard under the same owner. The car park is wheelchair accessible.
