This Helsinki K-Rauta is run by retailers Marja and Vesa Hautamäki. Alongside building and renovation supplies, it has the Viherpiha garden centre, an outdoor yard for garden products and a PRO Center for trade customers. There is also a café with a soup lunch on weekdays.
You can book a free appointment with an expert, and the store also handles installation, delivery and, through Remonttimestari, bathroom and kitchen renovations. Orders are picked ready for collection. Paint is tinted to order, and timber can be cut by staff or on a self-service saw. On weekdays the doors open as early as 6.30 am. The entrance and car park are step-free.
