This Helsinki tyre and car service shop belongs to Continental's retail chain of more than 50 dealers and is run by Helsingin Rengas ja Autohuolto Oy, an entrepreneur-led company. Besides changing, balancing and repairing tyres, staff store seasonal tyres in a tyre hotel and handle car servicing, oil changes, wheel alignment and auto glass work.
On sale are summer and winter tyres for cars and vans and work-machine tyres from brands such as Continental, Michelin and Goodyear, plus wheels. Booking ahead is recommended for servicing, and a visit usually takes 15 minutes to an hour. You can pay by card, by mobile or in instalments. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
