This EV charging station in Helsinki is part of a public charging network with points across Finland, in cities, at petrol stations, at shopping centres and along the roads. The network has both AC and DC chargers, and according to the operator all its charging points run on wind power.
Charging is started and stopped in the network's own app or with a charging tag, and the app shows nearby points with their details and instructions. Payment is by Visa or Mastercard, with sessions billed within one to two working days, and customer service can be reached around the clock.
