This unit of Helsinki University Hospital treats infertility, female hormonal disorders and gynaecological problems in young girls, and also provides hormone treatment for transgender people. Its work includes ovarian stimulation, IVF, frozen embryo transfers and fertility preservation before cancer treatment, and it has its own sperm and IVF laboratory.
A doctor's referral is required. Appointments are booked by phone or through the Maisa online service. Check in at the kiosk in the entrance hall 15 minutes before your appointment; one support person may come with you. The entrance, toilet and parking are wheelchair accessible, and there is paid parking behind the building.
