This seaside sauna on Furuvik beach in Helsinki holds open bathing and swimming sessions every day of the year. From the pier you can swim in the sea in summer and winter alike, and the hot room takes about a dozen people. Mixed sessions are in swimwear, and you change in the building or in changing wagons, with a separate wagon and three showers for women.
Tickets must be bought online in advance and places are limited, but you can join a waiting list for a full session. Swimwear, ice-swimming socks and gloves and sandals can be borrowed free of charge, and towels and robes can be hired. Visits usually last from half an hour to two and a half hours, and there is an accessible toilet.
