This large City of Helsinki beach has soft sand. There are changing rooms, toilets, a café, an ice cream kiosk and a playground, plus an outdoor gym, a padel court, a small ball court, a slackline and a beach volleyball court where players put up the net themselves. SUP boards are for hire, and paddlers have their own lane.
Lifeguards are on duty in the beach season, and accessible swimming is offered during supervised hours. Water temperature and blue-green algae updates appear on the ulkoliikunta.fi map in season. Four accessible parking spaces and a drop-off point are within 50 metres, and a lit asphalt path leads to the sand. Vuosaari metro station is about a kilometre away.
