A sandy beach on the southern side of the island, about a 10-minute walk from Lauttasaari metro station. There are changing rooms, showers and toilets, basketball and mini basketball courts, a beach volleyball court, an outdoor exercise and fitness area, and a café.
Lifeguards are on duty during the beach season, and in summer the water quality, temperature and blue-green algae status can be checked on the ulkoliikunta.fi map. There is no car park by the beach, but cars can be left along the nearby streets. Service is in Finnish and Swedish. The path to the beach is lit but made of rough crushed rock or sand, and the only toilet is a standard one in the maintenance building.
