This City of Helsinki beach is a gently shelving sandy shore, though the eastern end gets deeper more quickly. Facilities include a changing room, shower, toilet, outdoor gym equipment and a children's playground. Lifeguards are on duty during the swimming season, and in summer the water temperature and blue-green algae situation can be checked on the ulkoliikunta.fi map.
There is no car park near the beach, so come by public transport or city bike. The path to the shore is flat, lit and surfaced with gravel or sand. The changing room has at least four steps and a heavy door with a high threshold, the outdoor shower has a threshold, and there is no accessible toilet.
