Known in English as South Harbour, this harbour basin in central Helsinki opens out in front of the Market Square. Its shores hold the Olympia and Katajanokka passenger terminals, with ships to Stockholm and Tallinn, and ferries to Suomenlinna leave from the Market Square pier.
The harbour is an easy walk from the city centre. Check-in for ship departures is handled at the terminals according to each shipping company's instructions.
