Founded in 1922, the sailing club has its home harbour and clubhouse on an island. It helped organise the 1952 Olympic sailing competitions. Members have stern-buoy and alongside berths, while those without a boat can sail the club's 606 boats with guidance or independently.
Courses and weekly training are offered for children, teenagers and adults. Optimist training is for ages 7–11, with a youth group for ages 12–17. A seasonal ferry runs from Ullanlinna quay from April to October. A restaurant operates on the island in summer.
